The Diagnosis

Bronchitis.

That's the word from the doc as to why I've been hacking up my lungs and sounding like a chain smoker when I talk.

O joy.

Hopefully the antibiotics will take care of it, and I can start sounding and feeling normal again. I just can't help remembering the last time I had bronchitis, when I was in seminary, when it lasted for two months.

But that is not the way it's going to work! Oh no! I shall be full of energy! Full of enthusiasm! By Sunday I will be ready for three services, two graduation ceremonies, and three graduation receptions! No problem!

We'll see how far the power of positive thinking and a few antibiotic tablets can get me.
