Mom contemplates nature. Or maybe just how far down the drop is! Our area has such diversity in geography, and some areas of quite stunning beauty. Most non-natives have no clue about that fact. But I'm learning.
It was so much fun to go out on the rock outcroppings and see the great views. It made my mother AND my daughter nervous, so I didn't do as much of my usual mountain goat rock hopping as I usually do. But it was a beautiful day, and a fun explore for us all. And even better, no rattlesnakes or mountain lions showed up to spoil the day.
