Inauguration Morning

So grateful for this.

I find myself moved to tears...and find my jaded head filled with hope.

The closing prayer by Rev. Lower (sp?) was one of the best I have ever heard at a public event - I was crying, laughing, and saying Amen! through the whole thing. It was perfect.

There is a joyful atmosphere at our place. We've been joined by another friend. There were supposed to be a bunch of other pastors too, but as often happens, ministry intruded for them. Nonetheless, we are enjoying the party! Though I will have a ton of food left over, good thing the ladies are quilting tomorrow, and there is confirmation. That should take care of most of it!
